Huh, we're a town of 900 people also, but we have 45 miles of town roads to maintain. We end up renting a grader from the county. We looked into buying one but we can rent one for 50 years for what a decent example costs. Our use is mostly cutting back shoulders so the water will drain. Then we fill them back up with sand/salt all winter long!
