Me too. Every general election since I turned 18 in 1984.

What makes me proud is knowing that my 24 year old daughter hasn’t missed one yet.

Yep, voted my first absentee ballet in 1968 in Viet Nam. Miss one school levy vote in the late 1970's because I was in the hospital and didn't have time to give the 7 days notice for an absentee ballet.

And vote as many times as they'll let you! This time, they handed me three ballots and I'm like "Gee, thanks!" but as I grabbed them and turned to the voting booth a mob of senior ladies attacked me and demanded two of them back...my choice which two. I thought that was pretty rotten, Indian givers.

Voted yesterday. Have to find out if my mother voted; she passed 9 years ago. Talked to the Secretary of State's office and County Registrar's office a few months ago to insure that my mother's name had been removed from the voter rolls. Was assured by County Registrar's office that that had been done. Saw the book at the poll yesterday and her name was there. Forgot to see if they had the cemetery down as her new address (sarcasm).

I voted yesterday.
I like to vote on election day.
One year, back in the 90s, I voted absentee about three weeks early.
The Governor candidate I voted for, was caught up in a scandal and dropped out two weeks before the election.
so my vote didn't count  that year.

It is and it should stop. Saying you voted is one thing but if this thread is to remain we need the comments to stay on that track.

I agree. Commenting on preforming your civic duty is different from commenting on the outcome.
