One of my favorite .35 cal. rifles.
Has a nice Leupold scope on it.
Super accurate with cast bullets.

Beautiful machine, Ben. I concur with Salmonslayer, your rifles look to nice to get dirty! :)

What's not to like? 358 Winchester, Mauser 98 CRF, and Leup glassware.

How in the heck do you determine what needs to be shot next??? CZ93X62 is correct on getting dirty!
I sold a CZ527 because i didn't want to shoot it for fear of scratching the stock. An that rifle wasn't half as good as any of yours.

I really wish Mauser would have taken the time to make some REASONABLY priced bolt actions with the bolt on the correct side for me. I would love a .358W. Perfect cast bullet cartridge.

who made that stock?
it looks like what I have been looking for, for the XCB rifle on the Mauser action I have.
the shape looks recoil friendly off the bench.

It is a Reinhart Fajen from many yrs. ago.
The stock is about 25 + yrs. old.
When Midway first began sales, they sold some R Fajen stocks.

of course it would have to be... LOL.

the stock I want to replace is an Old Fajen too, it was gonna get shifted over to another project rifle.
I never would have guessed at the age though, the styling and design looks pretty modern.

I did a lot of " shaping " on this stock once it arrived.
It certainly didn't look the way it does today when I lifted it out of the box.

Ben - have a BLR in 358 Win. Not rung it out yet. Would be very interested in your 358 cast bullet data. I have a RD TLC 359-190-RF mold. Considering a 150 grn mold also. TIA

"JES rebore". So is that the original milsurp barrel rebored?

OK, I'm pretty sure not. I looked again and it is WAY different than a military barrel, and I see the
original caliber marking removed. So, I guess this was a .308 or similar and rebored up to .358.
Is that right?

If this was a test Bill, you would have just scored 100.
The barrel is a heavy stanless flutted , orig. chambered in 308 Win.
