Here in Mississippi too! Both ranges closest to me are under water now. My home range is not but I don’t like shooting in the rain. It is supposed to stop Saturday!!!

I might believe it Ben if I saw his can of Busch Light above water.

Keep that moisture down there, up here it turns white and has to be shoveled off my drive.

Plenty of rain here in NW Ohio, even with "flood warnings" in adjoining counties, but nothing to actually worry about - just a bit of a pain in the neck for us dealing with mud instead of snow.

Haven't had time to do the shooting I wanted to do anyway, so I can't really complain - temps above freezing and unusually calm winds make the wood pile last longer.

I've had it with the rain!
Started out this year just like we finished last year, raining.
Supposed to have a nice weekend for the last weekend of deer season. New moon and temps in the lower 30s to mid 50s. then guess what, more rain.

One of the reasons I vacated Michigan.

Found the sure cure for avoiding accumulating snow down here. Installed, the plow on the UTV @ month ago. They were predicting 7 inches...........we didn't even get a dusting.

Our Fall was abnormally wet ...............didn't affect the deer, they continued on as business as usual. I did pass a couple legal bucks up, because it was raining. Took their pictures, instead. Easy when one is already in the freezer.

Those of you with an excess of the rain can send it my way.

A good friend of mine retired a couple of years ahead of me and he tried mightily to get me to retire in Texas where he is. I can sum up why I am not in Texas in one word . . . . . . Weather.

I know the feeling Ben. We finished the year 26” above normal rainfall.

Feeding the cows in this slop has turned into a nightmare.

I hate all the rain, especially as we USUALLY get it - can't see the barn from the house, and barn and house are in jeopardy due to damned tornadoes! As bad as the AMOUNT has been here lately (I am an hour N of Ben), at LEAST it has been long and steady vs drowning a poor duck, AND only one tornado watch/warning associated with it... Gotta take what you can get I guess.
