Ian there is another option.

copy the Dillon die.
easiest die ever to clean and/or change bullet nose profiles on,,,, ever.
you don't even have to take it out of the press.

it's like they actually thought about cast bullet shooters when they made their seat/crimp dies..
Yes!

Dillin dies aren’t the cheapest but for ease of cleaning the seaters can’t be beat.
It will be OK Ian, they aren’t blue.

that the old style powder dump?,,, the one with the dual return springs wrapped around the hopper.
I really like those, they are super smooth compared to the new ones.
I still run the return rod though, I like having the spring down there to bounce against when I'm seating the primer.

That is a 96-97 era powder drop. I have the rod but removed it so long ago I don’t know where it is?
I have taken it apart a few times for a good cleaning and tightening.

the new style rods will work on them.
I probably have 1-2 extra rods if you ever get to missin it.

Sept. 10, 2021 Steve left us. You are missed.
Ok, haven't loaded any this weekend, I did unload 40 rounds of odd and ends of 308 Win with my brand new Henry Single Shot. Need to get a scope base, these tired eyes, but think I an going to like it.

Like most everyone I been done had a bunch for the previous national panty bunchings. I don't really need to but could run off 600 9 mil to help reach your goal, Brad. Seems most prepped better, or you must run out & shoot'em hot of the press.;)

Ian went all OCD on the wadcutters so his # is low. ;) I'll bet one drive band is ok, maybe try a farmers blow at/near them for good measure.:)

I too run off 300-9 at a sit but have tubes loaded for 600. Probably have in excess of 30k pcs clean various empty brass if you get bored Brad. I been slacking on refills for 308 & 454 if that makes you feel better.

if we come up a bit short I guess I could load some of those 40-short cases I have.
I don't have a 40 short [shrug] but I'm sure someone in town does.

I am up to 600 9mm now.Looks like I will run out of bullets between 900 and 1000.

I tend to be very ammo poor and component rich. I often have to load stuff so I can go shoot.

Next up is 44 special and some 32 H&R. Probably should run some more 38 special for the wife too.

I’m at the point of .223 brass prep where it’s time to trim. Not a fun task.
I have 5-600 Lee 124gr TC that need PC and sized. Maybe I’ll do that instead.

I figure I can cast 5-600 today and then repeat that tomorrow. Easily coat and bake them all tomorrow.

Refinish a few shotgun stocks and you could get a nice Blue press.

Today i jumped into loading for my new 32acp first 150 off of the press. After i see how they shoot. I have another 350 for the storage shelf.
Last week i worked on 9mm L. I filled half of one of those red Folgers coffee cans.

Guess I'll go out and load some HV BO (145gr @ 2200 fps goal) to check BLL HV limit. Just do ~ 20 as I already have enough cast and loaded stuff. Shooting is over till shelter is over. Shucks.
