Ms has one in cracked ice , the blue kind of spider web thing , it was listed @ $199 but my take home was $212 tax title doc . 7.85 % sales tax , $25 for NiCS , and 3% for my enabler . That must have been about his cost . Depending on the tax math $162 ......

Yeah, Jeff H has it nailed. The DeWalt signature model Ruger.

Those things ride in a pocket holster like about nothing being there.

I laughed at Jeff H's remark too, because I had a very similar thought!

Naturally, these delightful little bangers cannot come into NorKifornia.

Psa runs the non dewalt model at the same price pretty regular with free shipping. I'm convinced they are junk. We quickly traded one off years ago, no thanks on round 2.

Most importantly--HOW DO WELL THEY RUN? Freebullet's assessment is the first I have read concerning these models, and it is not encouraging. "You do have to be careful with the 380, Captain--they can raise quite a welt." (The late Sgt. Charlie Varga, of my old agency)

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
I've used a 380 to take 2 coyotes with cast. Worked rather well I thought.

Not much hunting with a 380 here--LOTS MORE with the 32 ACP, which does OK on jackrabbits and ground squirrels. The 32 is more accurate by accident than the 380 ever is on purpose.

I've shot Ms's a little . It's fine for the bedroom 25' gun it's supposed to be . Slow fire at 15-20 yd half gallon juice jugs are in grave danger . Rapid engagement type shooting results in 4-8" climb per round @ 10 yd . It has no issues with NOE 358-90 RNFP and 3.0 Unique , FC HyShock , FMJ , and Privi Partizian HP in 85&90 gr weights . Just two 6 round magazines , Pro Mags work fine as well . Ms has 2 Ruger mags , 1 Pro Mag . The finger tab mags are definitely a plus for my fat fingers (size 14 ring on 3 and my thumb size 10 pinky) .
I've run 250 rounds through it with no FTF FTE or misfires .
For carrying around it's great for range work I prefer G42 I haul around in the truck on road trips .

I've read that before, in a post WW2 book, Stebbins "Pistols and Revolvers" maybe? Might have the title wrong. I think he said their used to be someone making long (6") barrels and slides for Walther PP's in 32ACP and they target shot with them. That would be something to come upon. The sole 32ACP I ever saw I was interested in was a Walther PP with Nazi markings on it, some war souvenir I'm sure. Guy wanted the outrageous sum of $125.00 for it. I was pretty cheap even in my youth and figured he'd come down if I let it sit there. NOT! Should picked it up 'cuz it was in really nice shape.

I have a 1964-dated Walther PP in 32 ACP. and that little thing can SHOOT. For a time, I had a Beretta 81 in 32 ACP as well. I have had about a half-dozen each of 32 ACP and 380 ACP on board here, and I can say without reservation that the 32 groups significantly better. Both calibers are grossly underloaded in USA-made ammo for some reason--get some European spec ammo in either caliber and get a surprise in recoil and power. I got out of the 380 ACP many years ago after trying an East German Makarov PM and its 9.2mm 95-100 grain bullets going 1025-1100 FPS. Basically, a Walther PP on steroids, and full-value loadings in that little blowback monster are a handful.

I recall rounding a corner looking for a bad guy one day and looking into the barrel of a 22. It was HUMONGOUS! I'm sure a 32 or 380 would be worse. I'm not volunteering to stand down range and play catcher for anyone shooting any of these "weak" cartridges! ;)
