Well, it has to be done...

I am on vacation all this week, ( I've been working 56 hour weeks for almost two years now.)
Needless to say somethings around the house have been neglected. My shop being one of them. This is where I do all my casting and gun cleaning.

So my plan for the day as soon as I'm done with this cup of coffee is to go dive into that mess and try to get it respectable again! Lol.Its gonna be about 90 today so maybe later on this afternoon I'll take a small break, head to the store, and treat myself to an icy cold six pack of beer for my efforts!

It's pretty bad out there. Sure to be a full day job.

Well, coffee is about gone. Time to go get my hands dirty. Wish me luck!

Good luck! It recently took me three full weekends to clear a 6' bench in my garage.

Waco, late July, 90 would be a cool day. Better get 2 six packs. Maybe 3, then you could start your refreshments earlier. After all, that bench been waiting for a while and wont be going any place. Enjoy the vacation. Now me, I don't have that luxury. I'm retired. I have to make sure I don't do any work. My job is to do nothing, therefore, I'm working hard when I take my nap, which I'm about to do.

Good luck! 95 here today. I had a bench, but as always, any flat surface is covered with stuff.

True that it was only a 6' bench. But it was also piled 6' high.

OP, good luck. I've tried a couple of times to "clean up" the shop. My problem is that every drawer, and every, cabinet, and every nook and cranny, is already full.

Is that before or after?

I would take a photo of my landing bench, if I could find it. Last word I got was that it was residing under the pile of crap I left on it. I'm afraid to go searching.

Brad. The pics were kinda in reverse order. The first ones were the clean shop. The second set was taken before I started. Now I'm itching to go do some casting or something. As a bonus, I found about fifty pounds of alloy I forgot I had. That was nice. ;)
