I was going to ask if it was for a 38-55, but looked on there site first.
No need now. They have it too.

I was using their 38-55 brass but wanted more than the 50 cases I had. Now I have 250 cases all properly head stamped.

Thirty-some years ago I struggled and sized to reform 375WIN out of .30-30 brass, using trial-by-error to figure a way to expand the case mouths. In return, Dad mounted peep sights on his new Big Bore 94 I wanted to carry out in the Alaska woods for bear protection. I ended up with fifty cases and about half-a-dozen casualities after the first firing. The chase was as fun as the catch when I got home from the range, and the resized cases out of the RCBS tumbler. We are in a golden age of reloading where we can throw a credit card number over the phone lines and get new brass like this.

Now, I remember when I bought 500 .45 Colt cases five years ago. My Mother-in-Law took delivery of the small box, insisting I should send the package back and report all the broken pieces damaged in shipment...

Just opened a bag of Starline .357 brass. My tumbler doesn't make my old brass look like that!

We get used to the small quantities of items we normally use and when we're around huge quantities our minds take a few minutes to adjust. Change of scale causes this phenomenon.

I like Starline brass, never got any bad ones.

tumble alot longer than most folks I read about. For me its 12hrs. Over night or all day.

I don't tumble so often anymore since switching to PC coated bullets....I just wipe them off when I fire them.
But when I do ( cases start looking dull) I always go for 12 hrs in my vibratory case cleaner with walnut hulls ...actually lizard litter)

I have Starline .357 Mag that I never opened from years ago....Back then when I had extra money from doing 18th c firelock restorations & selling electronics and Ham stuff on e-bay I would invest the money ( as I explained it to my wife!) and buy New brass.. and Pistols from GB....
I ended up with an investment is brass I don't load anymore and Pistols I don't shoot anymore! Not sure it was the right move! Maybe the S&W revolvers gained some in value and maybe the new Starline brass but The Ruger single sixes and Ruger auto's seem to never go up in price!

A lot of the new Starline I've bought has had some stubborn, dark speckles all over it. Nothing that a little citric acid and stainless steel pin tumbling cant fix.

Yesterday's order arrival from Evil Empire (MidwayUSA) included 200 pieces of new Starline 45 Auto Rim cases. A nice amount, surely--but not enough to pour into an empty hot tub and swim around in. Buckshot makes offhand remarks about doing such things, but I have no first-hand knowledge of the event(s).

He better invite me next time.
