It was raining when I went to bed last night. Now it's snowing...
No real accumulation, but it is sticking to the ground, though not to the pavement - yet.

Jumped from late Winter to Summer and skipping the whole 70's for a high thing. Saw 87 yesterday afternoon. By then we had already quit working. In the a.m. I worked on the range, mostly painting in a wind so strong that sometimes the spray paint would make a curving 90 degree turn in 8 inches of travel.

After lunch, I help Sue pulling dead phlox stems, tall grasses, and giant rag weed from a "flower bed" infested with wild black raspberry stems. Our arms are shredded, and I got into nettles. Sun block sprayed on berry brush scratches is unpleasant.

Then took a 60 mile MC ride, (where we saw 87 on the gauge), waiting to go to the body shop to pick up my pickup. Got home and got my fishing gear packed into my truck for my upcoming three day white bass frenzy. Cut a bunch of Ostrich fern fiddle heads for creamed fiddleheads on toast for Supper.

Thunder storms rolled through from 11:30 pm until about 2:30 am. Quite the light show just north of us. Then good steady rain. 64 this morning before dawn.

Supposed to hit the mid 90's today, tomorrow and Thursday. Looks like I'll get to rehearse my sweating, out of practice after the winter months.

Going to be warm for us here today. No AC. AC/heating company ordered our new geothermal unit 5 weeks ago. Company owner said he'd been told, a 3 to 5 week lead time.
Not like we're going to be real uncomfortable. Our basement stays in the high 60s to mid 70s year round and we have a guest room with a big screen TV. Shops are also down there.

Cloudy and 80s. Decided to refinish the patio gliders wood. Got them sanded lightly and ready to mix the MS and 'tong oil' junk. Find an old rag and hand apply.

Are you using the same company John uses? 8 Years ago I set up an appointment for the following Tuesday with him for an estimate on geothermal. Still waiting. After all he never did say what Tuesday.

Yep! Same company John uses. Only other company that has equivalent credentials for Waterfurnace geothermal systems is in Harrison.

You need to practice?

I sweat thinking about 90° temps

i just got to thinking Ric it's too bad your not coming through this Wednesday.
they are setting up the mini vietnam wall tonight and tomorrow is the opening ceremony.
it'll be here till friday IIRC.
i forgot about it coming until i heard all the bikes, and then all the wailing sirens, dog howling, and train whistles etc. going off.
i thought the town was under attack from a motorcycle gang for a second.

It always makes me sad, and I cry a lot.

Mercury hit 91*, yesterday. Record high of 94* expected, today. Sunny with light and variable winds. More of the same, tomorrow. We were suppose to get some relief/precipitation on Friday, but the guessers took that out. Mid 80's and dry, for the weekend.
