Forecast is for 3-6” of winter on Wednesday. That means we could get 1-2” or 6-8”.
We will get what we get.

Currently, 61 degrees with light (<5 mph) out of the SSE. Birds are chirping like its Spring. High in the mid 60's. Rain and T-storms tomorrow. So, I got my shooting in, today. Gonna sit outside and clean some guns, after I digest my lunch.

Supposed to get snow later today. Wife said she heard up to 6 inches. It's not very cold so the snow will be wet and heavy and beat the bejezuz out of the hedges again. But then again, if we are getting 6 inches here in the Albany area, Brett is probably looking at 6 feet.

Well so far this January for NEPA we are Above average temps wise First time since 1990 ( Year without a winter) Looks like we will continue Til the end of the month & we only have a chance of light snow possible this Sunday....I'm loving it : Highs in the upper 30's and mid 40's We have dad a few cold nights but noting like Decembers lows.
Now I'm just trying to think of how this will affect this years growing season!!!

The forecast for today should have been mild to wildly scattered snot. It started as snow, but quickly changed to sleet. Now it is a mix of sleet and rain. The ground, driveways and sidewalks are just cold enough for it to stick, but not free or melt. Driving is not bad. But getting out of the car and walking to the door of your destination is like walking on a 1/4" layer of STP or camel snot.

Very nice day here in the steppes/desert of Eastern WA, 47* and sunny all day. Dropping to 23 tonight, but that is normal here. High 40's again tomorrow.

Been very mild with around the clock temperature just below and just above freezing. We got not quite 4" of wet heavy snow, then a bit of mist. The Town Patrolman came through and plowed early so Sue and I got our daily 2 mile walk in. Got back and started the Kubota to let it get up to temp and then plowed the snow. What a mess! The driveways are thawed partially and I'm ripping the crap out of the gravel. I'll have a lot of cleanup come Spring.

Throughout the rest of the day it would mist a little, stop, snow a little, stop, just raw and very damp.

Big flakes are coming down. Starting to stick, here. Guessers are saying 6-12 inches by 5AM, tomorrow morning. Oldest van parked on the flat level surface behind the gated drive. Plow installed on the Polaris SxS.

To add insult to injury, we lost power at 11:15 PM, last night. Whole house propane generator running, still. Guessers saying on and off light snow/showers till 9 AM.

Guess what I'll be doing all day?
