What is your weather today?

Kansas and Oklahoma made a drive-through Monday riding a cool front, dust so thick visibility was under five miles until the evening. Red dawns since. Highs in the 90s, dry. Supposed to cool off by the end of the week.

wool shirt in the morning, and T-shirt in the afternoon.
That'll happen sometime next month, here. My second favorite month.
No fall colors, though, as evergreen coastal live oak, pine and cypress are the native trees. Well, there are the occasional non-native deciduous tree that someone planted, otherwise the trees are green all year.

Red dawns since.
Finally, our red sunrises and sunsets are no longer red.

Cool drizzly breezy morning in the low 50's but temps dropping this afternoon. Highs tomorrow in the upper 40's

Yesterday's high was 82 and the overnight low was 60 -- not abnormal for this time of year.
Today was scheduled for another 82, but at 4:00 it was 95 -- very abnormal.
I'm skeptical about tomorrow's scheduled 77.

Skeptical?!?! Ha, ha!! The weather guessers' 77 turn out to be 88.
Why do I even bother?

Made it to 89* today, depending on which weather liar you choose to believe tomorrow is supposed to be either 79* or 86* for a high. MAYBE--just MAYBE--the blast furnace has shut down for the year. I won't risk any folding money on that bet, though.

Today was nice. The smoke has departed after almost 3 months of constant presence. The 243 was releasable today, but with doctoring and phone traffic with med insurance brokers (Medicare is almost 6 months overdue and STILL all messed up, long story not worth the bandwidth) I was too irritated to fight the crowds at the toy emporium to pick it up. Manana. Gotta head that way for another meet-up, I'll swoop it up after that concludes. I have most of what I need to get back into the 243 Business, including castings and J-words. There are even Condor Cuddler deer bullets in The Bear Habitat. Right now I'm in the middle of 9mm Refill Marathon, Marie's and Melissa's pistols look hungry and underfed.

Got about another 6" today and calling for around 3" on Friday. Might take the snomo for a ride tomorrow.

Today was quite nice here temperature-wise. The high was 75* at 3 P.M., and nighttime temps might run under 50* tonight. Saturday will see the local streets being closed for a neighborhood Pumpkin Race involving the neighbor kids and grandkids on Soap Box Derby-type carts and cycles, with a Hallowe'en-based theme to their design. This should be a ton of fun, and you gotta love the flyers that were put out--"NO PYROTECHNICS OR EXPLOSIVES ALLOWED!" Duly noted. The weather should cooperate nicely.

the cold made it yesterday, the snow isn't supposed to get here till late tonight or tomorrow.
too late to help me out for the deer hunt, which sucks, I spend a lot of my time in the travel corridors.

Went to hell in a hurry.
Today was 45, cloudy, and window. Forecast is for 2-5” of heart attack Sunday I to Monday.

Oh well, we did have 2 weeks of fall.

clear blue skies and about 40-F with a variable wind doing 4-5 mph.
if that snow is coming it'll need to hurry.

An odd morning overcast, but the rest of the day was one of those ideal Fall days, with a high of 68, a slight breeze, and a few wispy clouds. Seventies scheduled for next week.
