Well if you hadn't beat them to death on FORDS.....LOL! I know, it's a tough life. You'll be surprised in three-four months how much you get back though. The thick skin returns to normal, you can feel stuff again, and it doesn't hurt in the carpal tunnels so badly to button your shirt in the morning. Nice job by the way, that grain has a pretty rainbow to it that the finish really shows off.

I like checkering on Rifles; bolt guns, Ruger #1, but no other single shots. Never on levers.
Shotguns; over/unders, S/A, pumps, but not SxS.

Oh, my! That should work great as long as the grain isn't running diagonally through the wrist, as viewed from top or bottom.
