WTB: .25-20 Single Shot brass.

New or fired. I have an 88 year old gunsmith friend who likes to try new & different. He's done a lot of stuff in his 64 years in the trade but never this one.

I know they are like chicken lips to find but he's about the best friend I've got and I'd like to help if I can.

Thanks.

New....
RCC Brass. But be ready to cough up some doe.
They sell both new. They are very high quality. My brother got his 25-20 WCF thru there, at about $5 a shell. With a minimum order of of 50. Pretty much everything the make is priced 4 to 5 bucks each.

Yep, Single Shot, not the lowly .25-20. :)

It didn't look to me like RCC had any in stock, the symbol was grayed out.

And yep, dang pricey. Was hoping to spend something less than $5 a case but maybe won't be able to.

Yep pretty much 25- anything is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Good luck in your hunt. I'd give it a little time, before I went with new ones.
You never know someone may just have a few they will let go.
Some of these folks around here have surprised me, with what they have laying around.

My Dad was a fan and had several rifles chambered in it. I still have his die sets, regular and 310 sets, keeping them out of sentimental reasons. It's an interesting one for sure, shame it wasn't more popular.

Try Quality Cartridge Co. They list it but will make a run when there are enough orders. Price was $50.50 for 20, or $2.50 each

Very nice richhodg66. Who made his dies? Hollywood?

Bret, yeah, no kidding. Time flies when you're having fun!

Thanks Glaciers, I'll check them out.

The summer 2022 issue of Black Powder Cartridge News has an article covering the 25's along with cast bullets/molds of the 1890's era. Included are the .25-20 Single shot, .25-21 Stevens, .25-25 Stevens, and the .25 Stevens rimfire.

I had to run home to the old place to see if the house is still there after the storms--no 25-20SS brass. I did find some .25-25 Stevens brass I've been looking for for a friend.
