Exactly Ben! I couldn't agree with you more.

As long as plated runs over $12/100 and jacketed is over $22/100 , $2/100 for checks looks pretty good .

I loaded a lot of shot shells at $22.40/100 when steel was over $70/100 , it's hardly worth the time to load the press being able to buy the same components loaded I was loading when they're under $26/100 .

The cost of the tool and needing it in 22 , 25 , 27/28 , 30 & 35/38 was the thing that broke me on it . I guess after the first 100 , mat'l being less than a dime a 100 .... I don't know .......

Exactly correct!! I only mentioned the Check Maker for those who SHOOT A LOT. Me, I buy my checks if I'm trying to compete with jacketed; and then there's the issue of slumping. Always something.

Khornet and I have discussed this often. He owns a check maker, I do not.
He is retired, I am still working.
He trades time for money, I trade money for time. We each make a decision based on the commodities where we are either flush or short.

Received my order from Sage Outdoors yesterday. Fast serviice, good product, and they recalculated the shipping and reimbursed me $$. What more could I ask for! I will do biz with them again.
