Longone I sent you a pm.
Ian thanks for looking. Now if I had a lathe up and running I wouldn't be having this issue,;)

So whatcha gonna do about that?

I haven't made a Lyman type sizer but Star size dies are easy.

Brad, am looking at the G0602. It does not have all the capabilities that I want without doing a few mods. Have looked at several SB 9A lathes. The one real nice one brought way more than I was going to bid with zero tooling, which sold seperate. Gent that bought it bought and the tooling paid close to if not a bit more than $3000. I am still pondering one which one for sure, but with my ideas on lube dies I think collet chucks are in my future as well.

Here is what I bought.

My wife had just one rule when I decided to buy a lathe. She said to buy enough to prevent me from wanting to upgrade a year or two later. I listened!

A collet chuck is something I am looking at. I have been slowly acquiring tooling but so far have found that there are many ways to get by with less, it just takes longer.

Owning a lathe can be a money pit for tooling. Nice lathe there Brad, I just could not justify a capable machine like that for my use so I settled for the 7"x12" China version; it has served me well enough. For critical stuff I'll pay a real machinist for his work.
