This is a short-list of books and magazines I'm looking for, figured I'd check here first. I'm looking for reader copies, not worried about condition.

--The Modern Schuetzen Rifle
--The 50-70 Shooter's Handbook
--Finn Aagaard on Hunting Rifles & Cartridges (actually, any of his books)
--History Of Modern U.S. Military Smalls Arms Ammunition Vol 1
--Frasca's US Springfield Trapdoor Newsletter (bound volume would be nice, but loose issues work)
--Black Powder Cartridge News back issues

Boy, you have good taste in reading material. I used to stack up The Black Powder Cartridge Rifle News at my shoots for guys to take, along with Single Shot Exchange and The Fouling Shot.

I got my copy of "Moder Shuetzen" off Ebay IIRC. Even 20 years ago it was up around $60.00.

Finn Aagaard, great writer! I was unaware he did any books.

There have been several books published of Aagaard's work, both compilations of his magazine articles on shooting (Finn Aagard on Hunting Rifles and Cartridges, Guns and Hunting, and Finn Aagaard--Selected Works) and about Africa (Aagaard's African Adventures and Aagaard's Africa: A Hunter Remembers). Great writer.

Another I wish was saved from the files of magazine clippings was Gary Sitton. . . . And I sincerely hope someone somewhere publishes compilations of Ross Seyfreid's work.

Finn left us way too soon. I sure enjoyed his writing.

I've had good experience with Abebooks.com finding older books at affordable prices.

Kuhnhausen's books on gunsmithing the Ruger single actions, Colt single actions, and Mauser rifles.
