WTB/WTT Lyman 4 cavity nut cracker handles (CLOSED)

Hello all new member here, I hate to start out posting something in swapping and selling without contributing a few posts first but I find myself in need of the set of Lyman for cavity nutcracker mold handles. I’m on a fixed income so they need to be reasonably priced.

I'm no help the set I have is hooked to the lone example mould .
I'd trade in a minute for the scissor type .

FYI: Lee six-cavity handles can be ground and filed to accommodate a Lyman four-cavity mould.

I have a set I did for an RCBS . Does it take a lot facing or is it just thinning ?
If the Lee set I have is already close I'll send my Lymans along if we can meet an agreeable exchange .

It's just a matter of thinning them top-to-bottom and enlarging the mounting screw hole.
Warning: Don't overdo enlarging the hole, there's not a lot of meat on the inside edge. Perhaps drill and finish with a rat-tail file.
If I could do it, it can't be all that difficult and complicated.

To all those altering Lee handles. Be careful! Go slow! I’ve been the recipient of some molds bought off fleabay that were close to being ruined by Wrong, improper fitting, and closing handles! For me it’s not worth it. I don’t have a drill press, or any of the proper machinery that I would use to alter Lee handles to fit my 4 cavity molds. My molds are worth a lot more than a set of handles. The only reason I inquired about nutcracker handles is hat most don’t like them and would rather have the new style. They can usually be had cheaper than the $45.00 that a new set of the new style cost. If I can’t find a nutcracker, I would still buy a new set for the $45.00 before I attempt to alter a Lee set and take a chance on ruining one of my 4 cavity molds! That’s just. To each his own.
