Yesterday's snow

Basically, an attempt to post a video. Was only able to do it as a U-tube video.

Ended up with couple inches of wet snow.

Rick won’t be leaving the house for days. Hope he has enough coffee on hand.

Most of it should melt, today. It's currently 17 degrees...........on its way to a high of 38 with full sunshine.

Well, we got dumped on. Been snowing for over 24 hours now and "official" accumulation early this morning was 9"...but its still snowing. Snow on my deck is up to the windows. Unusual for Medina, south of the Lake Erie snow belt. We cancelled church services for today and a level 3 'stay off the roads' warning from police. Guess I can catch up on some casting and enjoy some fine chili for dinner.

Didn't get a couple of inches here, half inch at the most. Most of the ground is clear, snow on things up off the ground, roofs, patio furniture etc. Ground was still too warm for most it to stick.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
Your "yesterdays snow" got here last night. Absolutely miserable out! We shut everything we could in the barn, horses are out in the cedars as they hate staying in the barn, everyone is hayed well. Up most of the night from the wind I suppose. Not going to do much but move the snow as I can, some drifts up to my waist. Gonna be another fun winter day!

At large, whereabouts unknown.
No snow here... just unproductive cold time. We do still have some left over snow from last week though.

A few minutes after I posted this, it started snowing.... It doesn't appear to be serious about it though

Was working in garage/shop yesterday afternoon. It started snowing just when I came in for supper at 6pm. By the time supper was over the snow was coming down so thick I could barely see the garage 40-50 ft away. Waited until about 9 pm, by then we had 4+ inches. Wanted to go out and shut down shop but it was real slippery and I'm not real steady anyway, finally had bright idea and I took the tennis balls off the back legs of my walker and I used it as a way to safely get to shop and back. Going to stay in house and watch NFL playoff games and do office work.

I hate snow and ice!

Well, we got dumped on.................

An hour west of you, it's hard to tell how many inches total. You can still see bare road between drifts where it's open country, but it's drifted wherever there's a house, barn or trees to the point that regular cars won't pass without significant momentum and luck. Still blowing and drifting but not snowing. 4WD - no sweat, but temps are a booger right now at 5F.

Supposed to rain Wednesday.o_O

Ohio has a rich history of wide-ranging versatility in commerce - agriculture, manufacturing, services as well as diverse natural resources, topography, rural and metro areas, etc. I've always felt that the weather is quite diverse here as well. Something for everyone - and often within the same week.

Jeff - I moved here from Dallas back in January '92. It was cold and some snow in Dallas and nice when I got here. Sure changed quickly. Ohio is quite diverse as you say, It has stopped snowing but the wind is wiping up the drifts. 20* here. Two 4WD's here but have not ventured out until necessary, gotta watch out for the other guys w/o 4WD.
