This is why I don't shoot much anymore. I have enough supplies to last me to the dirt nap, assuming we don't have a civil war or something, but I'd have to sell half guns off just to afford primers to shoot them! I hope prices moderate at some point, but I'm not putting a lot of faith in the chances

Was at scheels in iowa city yesterday. Most powders that are in high demand were $50-$55/lb. Nothing hodgdon was under $50. All the oddball powders were $34/lb. There was some TCM powder for $19/lb. I have no idea if that could be made to work for anything I load for.

You guys should see the pricing here in Canada. Avg powder prices = $ 125 per lb. Primers are selling for between $500 and $700 per 1000. Nosler partitions in 30 cal. = $135
Which is why I'm looking more and more at a flintlock. I can make BP and sparky rocks exist even here.

Up here, Varget is listing for $100/Lb
Most powders $60-70/#

I have seen primers advertised as high as $175/100

I doubt they sold any BUT there are very few available anywhere

ETA: I have seen some powder listed for $1000/8#keg

I doubt they sold any…. Yet
Wow! I’ll take a guess, is “up here” Alaska?

Lots of powder has been available here in Northern PA with prices running around 40-45 a pound. It keeps creeping up though… Seeing more primers on the shelf mostly at 11 or 12 per 100. $90 per 1000. Luckily I still don’t need any.
