I noticed they took that de-resonator off after the vertical stringing of the Barnaul stuff that he thought shot so well at the beginning.

that is a neat little rifle he has there though.

Fiver..I noticed that and thought it must have melted off or flew off:):)

He was a pretty good bench rest shooter.

He also played it cool, things did not go exactly the way he anticipated, but he recovered very well.

My first carpentry boss used to say," never act surprised when it fits, if the customer is watching";):);):)

He was so sure the heavier bullets would shoot better.

What I really would have liked to have seen was someone with one of those $3,0000.00, 338 Lapua taticool outfits shooting next to him.

BTW does anyone know why they counter bore those M/N's ?

Bad throats/leads?

The 2 i had had nice bores. I read that they were all chrome lined but seems hard to believe. Maybe it started in the 1930's but haven't a clue.
