Well, we got a break in the daily evening rain and I had a box of powder-coated .38s that I loaded last night that needed to be run through two revolvers, turned out both revolvers were leaded up terribly from BLL/wadcutters from last time I shot them, so it took me over an hour to clean them up enough to tell if the PC was working...then of course I had to go do some shooting, then found some "beggar's lice" weeds at the range that needed pulling before they matured and spread, then I got the tireds......

Anyway, both .38s shoot high, so I've been studying quickload for a bit to see what I can change. The PC worked great, no leading at all from them. Not extremely good grouping, but not terrible, either. More work to do there, then I can get to loading about 2500 of them. I cast for several hours three nights this week, so it turns out I'm not quite as up for another casting session just yet, but the evening is still young!

I did cast with the mould, it's right on spec but like most brass moulds needs more casting cycles before it will be casting up to its potential. I kept a couple dozen for initial trials and threw most of a pot full back to be remelted.

OK OK, finally drug out the camera. These aren't perfect but close enough to work up some test loads.

Ian what kind of results did you get with this bullet?

I don’t recall you having any other post about it but I very likely could have missed it.

I haven't posted much about it. I ran some test loads through a few rifles, found out the don't feed as well as I'd like through the M1A, but got some good groups and was satisfied that otherwise the design was going to work like I intended.
