I have this handy dandy MP 358-200 that cast a 203gr slug with big hollowpoint and I am using it in 350L.
I want to load this slug in 357 Mag. She is too long for a .357 mag case without crimping on the ogive for my Blackhawk and Security Six.
I can make it fit with a 38 special case.
My question is:
I have load data for a 200 gr cast slug in .357 mag, loaded to 1.575 O.A.L.
Can I load this Magnum Load in a 38 special case if my O.A.L is longer and be safe? O.A.L. in crimp groove when loaded in 38 special is 1.660
It wouldnt chamber in a .38 so there is no danger there. Will the brass hold it, etc??? I dont see any blantant issues?
Thanks
