1 of 2 Grail molds

Thanks to one of the members here I finally got one of the two "Grail" molds I've wanted for years. It's a Lyman 429383 246gr round nose. And in a four cavity version. I have a Lee .44 round nose and it works fine but to me the Lyman is the classic. I plan to use it to work up some factory duplication loads for several of my fixed sight .44 Specials.

Now if I could just find a Lyman 410426 - it's a 240 gr .41 caliber mold round nose I believe was designed for the .401 self loader - so I could make up some round nose loads for my .41 Magnum.

A Lyman four cavity 429383 246gr mold. Except for a small amount of wear in the alignment pin holes the mold is in terrific condition.

I already have a four cavity 410459. It's a good bullet for sure. I also have a H & G 10 cavity #258 which is a 220 gr .41 SWC. It's closer to St Elmer's ideas of a SWC than the -459. Sample bullets from this mold were used in a group buy over on the other site. They were sent to Miha and I bought a brass four cavity rendition with all the HP pin styles. Still need to cast with it since the H & G is just almost too much for me to handle. Only thing I ladle cast with, once its hot it will rain bullets.

6+ years ago, I bought a Lyman single cavity 410426. It was one I didn't like and flipped it. It did not easily drop the bullet, the blocks were offset 0.002 and cavities undersized. Before I sold it, I borrowed to another caster, who said he could make it better, well I got it back and still had same issues, plus it was full of adhesive from some crappy tape he wrapped it with. It must be kind of rare, cuz it was easy to sell.

I have a "combo" mould in which one of the two cavities is a 410426. Feel free to PM me if interested.
