Just got my mold,and firedit up today,,runs good at 18 degrees outside.....
Anyhoo,,it has a mini bevelbase,,not a fan.did this mold always hace this band?i assumed it was flatbased,,,o well,,,should be easy enough to fix.

Try as is. Lotsa folks say they dont like bb but loads tell it shoots great. It loads nicely!!

I can tell ya I shoot it @ 900 isn in my 40's and exceed 1500 in the 10mm carbine & this bullet shoots very well out to 100 yards.

This bullet has always had a slight bevel base as far as I know. I’d load and shoot it some before taking the time to flat base it. As noted above it works well in .40 and 10mm in a wide range of velocities, plus a .38/40 revolver and rifle for me.
