Sure am glad i found 335 data from lyman.
Ive been playing around,,even chrono,d the loads today.
155lee sp 20.0-335. 100% compressed,havent measured the groups yet,but this load is gonna be between 1/4 and3/8ths of an inch,for 5,,,nice round hole.1700fps,16 inch barrel.

Im gonna try to get 21ish into the case,with long drop tube.
Btw,,,20 grain load has es of under 20.
17,18 gr loads,were 50 and above.

I used H335 on one lader with a cast bulket Ill have to ck my notes. But its stuck in my head because it was very accurate. I haven't revisited yet but I wont forget.

That was 21 grs,,,and 1630 av

Shot the 311410 lyman today,,cant get this 1 below 2 inches,,even down around 1200fps.
Dont think im gonna waste to many primers on this bullet.

2080fps with 155 lee.no pressure signs,but im over max according to book.

These ar,s are all new to me,so i find new stuff to intrest me.
After 40 of the 311410,i wanted to see what the bore looked like,,because the 410 dont have a gc.

Bore is shiney,except....
1 inch just after the pressure hole.when the bullet passes that hole,it must allow the gasses to get at the bullet,,really neat how the lead layers onto that 1 spot,,,then remains clean all the way to muzzle.
Just an example of how fragile the cast bullet is.

your chrono seems optomistic, and you'll know when you're overpressure because the primer pockets will get loose

Yup,,,found out where max is,with 4227.
I know im staying away from that level!
