I have shot up a bunch of these now through various things and haven't found it to be a particularly good bullet. Shoots better in some things than others, but hasn't shot real well in much of anything.

My Dad liked it and had a bunch cast uo which I got. I have a double cavity mold, but I really think when these are all shot up, I'm done with it. I have been enjoying shooting it with ten grains of Unique at 50 yards from that Cimmaron High Wal repro in .30-40 but those groupd sure did open up at 100.

It was a long time ago, but for the fairly short period of time that I owned a 311466 mould, my only .30 caliber rifle was the still currently owned 03A3 and it did not like that bullet. It could very well be that I didn't experiment enough, because there has been plenty written about its accuracy. In fact, I think the forum member who bought the mould may be one of those who praised it.

I seem to recall my Savage 340 did alright with it and so did a 788 short barreled .308. Niether of my .30 caliber cast bullet target rifles do.
