3D printed tool storage

I got tired of my R8 collet drill chuck rolling around in the drawer when not in use. A little YouTube searching led me to the way to solve the problem.

30 min on Fusion 360, 8 hours of printing, and problem solved. Only a small amount of cursing was required when using Fusion 360. This time.

Now to see what else can be better organized.

A worthy project for sure. Those big, keyless chucks are heavy, teeter-totter in the middle, and roll like a loose cannon in a drawer if they aren't in a box or something. Mine lives in the spindle most of the time but when using collets, boring bars, flycutter, or whatever else that chuck has to go back in its original, cardboard box with the spanner.

I have more printing now. One to hold various countersinks and another for the boring head.

Ran out of white filament so I used yellow. I have lots of black but I want something where the tools shows well- black on black just doesn’t work.
