That is a considerable upgrade from the Lee offering, Outpost 75. I may not be able to do without that mould. It's only money.

...used SS police S&W 4064...

I looked this one up and realized that I HAD one of these in 40. I could never remember the model number once I sold it.

My gunsmith talked me into it. Said we could get a screaming deal if he bought two and he wanted one. I agreed on the condition that it were a single-stack, which is what he'd told me it was, so I agreed. Once they came in, they were double-stack, but he didn't remember that part of the conversation.

It was cheap, but it was a fantastic pistol. The trigger was extremely light, it was compact - rather svelte even. Very nice-looking pistol to boot.

I really liked it and it shot very well, but the grip was wider than I wanted for gripping and MY preferences for concealment. No knock on the gun, but it wasn't what he told me it was going to be. I used it for a while just before I started paring things down.

Tough crowd!

Yeah, I guess it is kinda .... "stylish," isn't it? But who'd ever SEE it if it's a CCW?

I was looking more at the form. You could always make it all one color easily enough.

I'm really more about revolvers though, so you can't hold my poor taste in autos against me.

EDIT: OK, OK! That was just mean. It was a horrible visage and I have deleted it. Actually, it was hard for ME to look at, but this is a family forum and I never should have posted such an awful image. Man.OI just couldn't look at it again!

My apologies to my fellows.

There is a chuck roast in the oven and it smelled SO wonderful, but now I 'm sick to my stomach.:embarrassed:
