This is my Ruger SBH Hunter with an Ultradot 30mm. The printer paper shows the chrono data. If it’s unreadable the 6 shot average was 1339. This is 18.5 grains with a Fed 150. I was not expecting this high a velocity. Bullet weight is 301 grains with this alloy which is 2-4-94 heat treated at 450 for 1 hour. Lube is the SL-71B. I’ll be shooting more of this load for further testing. Recoil softer than 21.5 H110 load.

My BHs (44 SPC/45 Colt) are 4 3/4" bbls. and old eyes. not gonna shoot 75 yds with them... But nice, and I like the mod to the target!

Was trying to give a better border for that red dot. Not the precision of cross hairs.

Red dot isn't the best for targets, but it's better than irons if your eyes aren't all that great. A dot also happens to be excellent for calling those involuntary-jerk flyers

As you see I had a few of those flyers. Top left was last shot. Knew it immediately. This Ruger will shoot though. I’m liking 2400 all over again.
