I have the GB 452423 that Catshooter ran (boy, did he cost me a lot of money!). Don’t have the 45 BD. Can someone who has both put up an image of both?I have used the 452423 with excellent results in my Smith 17 and Ruger BH. If I had a 6 banger I would have a real choice in which I liked better- the Keith 452423 or the old GB "45BD"!
I'll try to get a pic. As I understand it, it was designed as the heaviest bullet that would reliably function in a stock 1911 with a FN, a hunting design. IIRC it's heavier than the 423, maybe 255 or so, but don't quote me on that.I have the GB 452423 that Catshooter ran (boy, did he cost me a lot of money!). Don’t have the 45 BD. Not sure if the BD style would be helpful to me or just a variation of the same theme? Shooting them from revolvers so there is not the same concerns as if they were feeding from a magazine.
