Brad,

I'm going to move on.....................
No need for me to be dwelling on this anymore.
I'm not able to tell Lee what is fair and appropriate with their customers, they will decide that.
The only thing I can do now is make decisions on who I choose to spend my money with, and that I WILL DO !

The only way I would buy a Lee mould now is used and from a seller I trust. Life is too short for this kind of Bravo Sierra.

I was hoping you could get a usable mould. I was interested to see what it would do.

I still have The Mastodon Flattener in the mould box, AKA the Lyman #462560. The Bore Rider From Hell, 560 grains in #2 alloy that makes a Ruger #1 in 45/70 into a lethal weapon on both ends. It has an OEM hollow-point pin, which is certainly gilding the lily more than a little. 46 caliber and 1-1/4 oz at 1700 FPS has a presence all its own. Even at 1100 FPS, it let you know the primers functioned.

Umm, lots of mastodons to hunt in Alabama? I once shot an Impala but it wasn't the kind made by Chevy. That bullet would kill a car. Or three.

THAT is a pretty close rendition of the Lyman Mastodon Flattener. The Lyman design sports a bit longer bore-rider nose portion, but that would be the only discernible difference. Impala, hell--those bullets would derail a locomotive.
