So...I got to go to the range two days in a row this past week..
Saturday was the designated 200 yd day at one of our ranges...
I tried several different bullets...nothing great to report with the heavy's..
or with slower powders than 2400 ..at least at this time...
However if you remember in my previous post I had mentioned that the little
31-167-N from Tom at Accurate Molds produced a 1/2" two shot group just as I ran out of ammo..

I did bring more with me just to see what would happen if I had 5 rounds...I was pleasantly surprised..
the bullets aren't too happy with me tough...as they did their part ...but I just didn't hold up mine...got to weld the cheek the same way each time or ya gonna get two groups...RIGHT!..RIGHT!

Yes... I'm going to try these again..

that would be good with jacketed at 200 yds.

I ain't sayin nuthin about shooting 2 groups because of head placement...
but the results speak for themselves.

Impressive shooting Dan. Makes me want to extend my cast shooting out a bit. Well done!!

Wind?

Which promotes the next question, wind flags?

Far from a benchrester here,so not trying to step on toes but..... "if the brass ain't flyin, you're dying" is a bonafied technique for bench.I subscribe to it.It somewhat mitigates wind influence WRT group shooting.I also like the chamber heat issue, being held closer..... that is debatable though. It's hand in hand with shooting quickly.

You have to really get on top of the stock's balance and how it rides the bags.No small order.Good shooting, thanks for posting,BW
