well..
the phone rang at 4:30 this morning.
it was Littlegirl complaining about some pregnant girl problems [she was all bent out of shape because we were donna go Grouse hunting this afternoon] and she was heading off to the hospital.
she was down there for a couple of hours and they sent her home to wait it out.
she come over here instead and hung out for a couple of hours, then decided to go for a walk...
she didn't make it too far and come back to rest.
we sent her down to the hospital again about 2 hrs ago and they admitted her this time, so I guess she is finally gonna have the kid sometime tonight.
the wife is pretty stoked since today is her birthday, and Dawn is trying to hold off until after mid-night just so they ain't the same day.

anyway:
I guess I will have [or try to] to get some pictures and post them up when he comes out to see what's going on.

Congrats! I will be a Grandpa myself come November. I am looking forward to it a lot! A new little shooting buddy!
Already looking at little Cricket .22's for him!

I have Dawn's old Winchester 22 I shortened for her about 20 years ago, and a micro stocked 300 B.O. stashed away already.
she doesn't know I have the 22 back, since she gave it to her younger cousin when she outgrew it.
I went and got it back from my Brother when his youngest got too big for it.

I still have my old Stevens .22 single shot my Dad got me for my 4th birthday. Cut down barrel and stock. I bet the whole rifle isn't 24" long....

I figure I better grab a magazine, some soda's, maybe a little bag of whoppers and a couple of candy bars, just enough stuff to annoy the daughter with.

everything worked out fine.
we waited and waited.
Dawn finally said well he's ready to come out, and @ 20 minutes later there he was.
he fussed about for a minute then chilled out until they started weighing him and doing their usual routine.
the wife got a Pic but went straight to bed when we got home so that will have to wait.

the Dad done 2 tours in the mid-east so a little bit of gross wasn't a shock to his system.
