Anyone here play with a 45 raptor yet?

I got out today .
I shot up the last of the 10-15 yo 230 RN to get the sights close ....... Close to 12" high. I ran out of down adjustment on the Williams base and have a ghost ring instead of a peep . 4/12 of those did manage to land together in about 4" @ 50 yd the 12 454424 NOEs did get all in 1 place about 8" by eye and 9" high . The jam fit seating I imagine helped . 1 or the other leaded a little just in front of the chamber which suggests under size . I'll bet on the commercials .

It was a lousy day of shooting overall so I take full credit for the bad groups .

Depressed I came home and formed out and finished another set of brass from LC16 .

The sights did stay on and should be on POH out to 300 yd or so ...... Little sarcasm .

A bad day at the range is so much better than a day at work or in front of the boob toob.

You had more fun shooting than I did moving wood, I promise.

Looks like satern is out of the bbl's at the moment. I may snag one when in stock. 16 or 18"- decisions decisions.

With the heavy profiles they're offering I'm surprised how light yours turned out.

Sporter profile from Rhineland arms , originally for the 45 ACP conversion . I really need to get it on an accurate scale .

I'll keep it in mind .
I want to work another step load and another powder with the heavy before I go to other bullets .
I may have to break down and find some 4227.
