No experience here on this end of things, but I wouldn't want to bet against that one. I'm with you, that is a nice looking bullet.

I was gifted a bag if these a few years ago when I first bought a 327. Its a nice bullet. It shot very well!
I like heavy for caliber and bought a slight heavier bullet designed to be the biggest and heaviest a S7 could chamber. Its a 135g

The Yellow Bullet is the 130 Kieth. Bullets in my palm are my 135's.

As for heavier, I discovered that the Lyman 311440 powder coated is big enough to engrave. I can load and shoot in my 327's and 32/20.

The 311440s are a good looking load. How fast are you pushing them? Played with the 311440, RCBS 30-150-FN and the RCBS 7.62-130-SP in a Ruger .30 Carbine Blackhawk. They made great loads at 100 yards. Biggest problem was the throats on the BH. Had to do some out of the envelope tricks to make them work though. Came to the conclusion that Paco Kelley had his chamber throats opened some. Would make a deer killer./beagle

If I remember correctly, I got 1050 out of my 4 5/8 inch bird head Ruger I don't remember shooting it out of my 5 1/2 inch for velocity.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
I used the 440 in the 32-20 rifle based on Paco's Kellys article on same. Can't recall powder, etc., but it was surprisingly fast for such a small case and accurate.

That's kind of a special purpose load. Would take a deer. In the Ruger pistol, it's a balancing act between as I recall, 1400 FPS for stability, keeping the length short enough for the cylinder and keeping the pressure under an acceptable level. The length is the key. I had to either open the cylinder throat or downsize the bullet. I ended up sizing down the driving band and seating out as far as possible. All three bullets I mentioned worked. I liked the 311440HP.
My bullet in the .32 Mag is a 313631 plain base HP with a pop can check. Use it in the .32 Mag and the .32 S&W Long at 98.2 grains./beagle

Does anyone have any experience with this mold in the 32 H&R Mag?
130gr seems a bit heavy but it’s a good looking bullet.
I have a Ruger Single Six.
I have this mold,it is some sexy looking, but dont shoot as good as it looks.only way it is somewhat accurate,is wide open speeds.wont shoot in the same time zone,as the rcbs98.

Good to know. I have a copy of the RCBS 98gr SWC
It shoot pretty good. Maybe I’ll just leave well enough alone.

My single six is the only 32 I own. I'm just a sucker for new molds and this one caught my eye.

That is what I get from the OEM Lyman #313631 with Hornady checks in both 32 Mag and 327.

I’ll be looking that’s for sure. Just trying to figure out what mold I might need. Probably going to have to buy one for a caliber I don’t have yet.
