I have never seen a Racoon trying to climb a woven wire fence trying to get at a barking dog. Usually, it is the other way around.

Let my girl out about 6-ish. Bark, bark, bark... oh, snap. Went to look, right in the side yard, maybe 25 foot from the door. There is a Racoon hanging on the fence... but on the outside looking in... It was not happy, but stupid. All it had to do was turn around and walk away.

I asked it once to go away. It got back up and tried to get through to my girl again. Second time was a charm.

Good for Belle. My Aussie Shepard/heeler mix Pepper is sweet to everyone and our other dogs and cats- but when she spots a raccoon she silently hits it at full speed and kills it dead. No barking, just a bit of fighting noise. Strange.

Ding, ding, ding! About 0400 she was barking in back. In the rain. It was quite possumble something happened. Went back in.

Not sure if the magazine lips are a little opened up. The next round sometimes rams into the upper side of the chamber rim. Not unknown for something made in '53...
