Brad must have looked at the Bambi loads I had out, Bambi deserves no less. I mean if we were going to hang Brad we would use a quality new rope right?

Why are discussing the hanging of Brad?

And Rick, I saw other bullets in your loading area. They all looked that good.

Rick, the ammo we used was loaded with a .430 diameter bullet. The bullet measured 23-24 BHn.
The fact it didn't lead is a good sign. A softer bullet that fits a bit better should be a good thing.

See? A brand new rope and he's complaining. :(

Surprising they are that hard, sure don't need to be for cowboy loads. As for being .430 that's probably nothing more than that's what the books say, don't make it right. Plus they need as commercial ammo to make sure it fits in everything, as casters & handloaders we have the advantage of making it fit one gun . . . Ours.

Rick, this bullet was hard as hell, bevel based, and lubed with some sort of red hard lube. If that bullet can shoot well then I shouldn't find it too difficult to get some decent loads worked up.

Ian, I too would like to see Rick in action casting. I do think the tin he adds to his wheel weights helps but in the end it is skill and experience that matters most.

His loading and casting areas are immaculate. He also has a reasonably small space to utilize but he uses it wisely. I have no idea how he stays so organized, I sure can't.

Most likely, yes. They seem functional to me and I kinda like the size and shape..

I mostly have the Hogue rubber Monogrips on many of my S&Ws. Fits my hand like a glove
and all of them feel exactly the same - at least the ones with the Monogrips do.

I'm with you pistolero. I have a couple with the Pachmayer presentation grip also. They just seem to fit my hand better and stay in place better for me.
