The rigid one got 5 stars on Amazon. Over 40 years ago we started using bore scopes to inspect jet engines; they were made by Olympus and cost about 40,000 dollars now the 200.00 one's have better quality pictures plus being able to use a phone or computer attached to them is great.

The rigid kit I bought together with the 4-caliber bore mirror set gets a solid five stars from me for sure. Think I gave $125 delivered for it earlier this year. The LED fiber optic light and automatic screen brightness/contrast balance algorithm is what makes so much difference compared to most optical bore scopes. I used the multi-section automotive endoscopes decades ago and they were a real pain in the neck.

Great borescope. Bought an original flexible shaft model 2 1/2 yrs ago and find it worth every one of the 4,995 pennies I gave for it. Did add the extra mirror kit a few months later. :)
