My 14 yr. old grandson , Trevor, wanted to shoot my Colt Officer's Model Match - 38 Special today. I thought he shot the revolver real well.

Ben

We were shooting the 358432 with 3.0 grs. of B'Eye.

Another of Trevor's many amazing shooting feats.

Hey, Ben, you ought to give Trevor a box of those cartridges and see how many it would take him to shoot the bullseye out of the target. I bet he would do it with the minimum number of rounds, and without any holes anywhere other than along the bullseye.

A lot of them like guns and shooting, just don't seem to really understand them or want to understand them. I tell people that if you're a serious shooter you have to be a handloader. So many think it's soley about economics but it will educate you so much on what's going on with the gun or guns you shoot. I could say the same about motorcycles, I used to wrench on mine quite a bit and it made me a whole lot more knowlegeable about the machine.

I find the same thing in other areas, like auto maintenance, appliance repair, etc. IME they seem to want to know there very bare minimum and that's it. I think it's part of the internet era myself.

And safer using it!
