Several years ago, I really bit the bullet and bought a Savage 99 "Brush Gun" in .358. Probably the easiest rifle to get to shoot well with deer hunting cast loads I have tried. In reality, I'm kinda dumb to bother deer hunting with anything else, based on the terrain and methods I deer hunt, it is about as close to the perfect deer rifle as exists.
One of the real beauties of the .35s is the ability to use .38 revolver bullets in one. Most of us have a .38 or two around and cast for them. The Lyman 358311 is a great target and plinking load in any .35.
