I put a taller front sight on my rifle.
My grandson Trevor and I took the rifle to the range today.
Took a few rounds to get the rifle zeroed.

Trevor shot this 5 shot group at 50 yards from a sandbag rest.
12.4 grs. of Alliant Unique, Lyman 323471 - sized .325" with Hornady g/c , Rem 2 1/2 Large pistol primer.

We decided it was time to put the rifle in the case and go home.

My boiler-plate Burrito Shoot load--W-W cases, WLR spark plugs, 16.0 grains of Alliant 2400, and the Lee 175 grain bore-riding cone-point. The 8 x 57 is a natural-born cast bullet caliber.
