How do I get my posts and PM's to show a paragraph change? Everything I write comes out as one long paragraph. Kevin

At the end of your last sentence in the paragraph simply hit the enter key twice.

Start new paragraph.

Rick I have done that. But it still shows up as one paragraph. StrawHat What is the return button. Rick I just hit enter twice and this is what I get. Kevin

Then that should work, why it doesn't is above my pay grade. Only thing I can think of is it's a set up issue, which is also above my pay grade. Are you on a wireless mouse? Possibly the setup there.

If you've noticed on my long posts.
.
I put a period inbetween paragraphs.
.
As I did in this post, inbetween sentences.
.
WHY DO I DO THAT???
I'm not sure when or what changed, but I tend to edit and re-edit my posts, looking for spelling or grammar errors, and when ever I hit the "backspace" key(and maybe some other keys?), the software (in my computer?) removes all the double spaces, including the spaces I try to leave between paragraphs...BUT it doesn't remove the space, if I put a period in that space.

So John B You write something. . You put an extra period in there. And you go on to something else. . Then you go on to the other thing . The last 2 sentences were written as Jon said with twice hitting Enter. And I still get one continual Para..

Write a paragraph then a period then "enter" then period, then "enter" then write another paragraph

Kevin, does it work properly if you write something in a word processor or in Notepad?
(I am assuming you are using Windows.)
In other words, does hitting enter do what you expect in those apps and start a new paragraph?

Here's another test to try:
Write something in Notepad, getting the paragraphs the way you want.
Then copy and paste it into a reply here.
Let's see if the formatting is kept or if it gets stripped out.

This should help us get closer to the root cause of your issue.
