I grew up liking "Smarties", no wonder why I gravitated to the "Hard Stuff" in my later life!!!

Smarties are proof that something that tastes like nothing found in nature can still be good.

Necco wafers were invented in 1847 and there is another candy company making a similar product as Smarties. Pezz had something similar.

i try to keep a bag of Pez hid around here somewhere the G-kids can't find them. {the metal trash can out in the shop}

the Girl found one of my Pez dispensers still in the package yesterday, IIRC it was a mint limited edition teenager buggs bunny,, emphasis on the WAS.
i probably still have a couple dozen stashed around here somewhere all from the 70's-90's.

as a running joke me and the BIL would sneak one in a guys lunch box that we worked with about once a month, and try to make it so it'd go home with him.
his wife had no sense of humor whatsoever and would mercilessly bust his balls over all the junk we sent home with him over the years.

I love the things. Twizzlers too, otherwise, not too crazy about most candy. If I keep too many Smarties around,... I'll eat to many and it makes your tongue sore.

Still trying to decide now if they require standard or magnum primers though.

Smarties and Neko wafers were her favorites. One being kind of candy, not number of mothers, but I have two same as most married men. CW

A roll of Necco wafers was often found in my range bag back in the day for use as plinking targets. Easy to see, challenging to hit, and the leftover pieces melted in the next rain.

We used Necco's as fun targets for 4-H air rifle targets using a block of wood with a shallow groove. One of the better shots fired and I told him that he missed. He said he didn't, just nicked the edge. Got close and sure enough there was a small nick in the edge. Eagle vision I never had!
