I recently obtained a Lyman 429640.
I sent it to Erik to have it HP'd and the g/c shank removed .
I requested .432 " for the base of the bullets.
As usual, Erik's work was dead on accurate.
Today was my 1st real opportunity to get the rifle out and test the bullet.
My friend Jason was with me at the range and I asked him to fire the rifle also.
I hope this will make a nice short range deer rifle for my grandson for use in the deep hard wood bottoms of Alabama.

I came home and pushed a clean cotton dry patch through the barrel.
No leading and the bore was shiny.

I'm betting that this bullet at reasonable distances ( 35 - 70 yards ) on white tails will be deadly.

Here the bullet is sized and lubed with Ben's Red

I have a flat point pin for this mould. I also have a deep HP pin and a shallow HP pin.

A very versatile mould.
