Really was impressed with Bens and frankly didnt know it was a thing!!

So I found Titan Reloading had a sale. It came in today. I didnt heat cycle but I was producing good bullets after a doz or so casts. I only warmed it as the pot came to temp.

CW has far more time on his hands then me, that’s for sure. Nice CW, it’s a dirty job and I’m glad you stepped up.

Going to have to pick a 160 up along with a 6 cavity in 200 of the same design. I have been interested in the 160 for years, think it was a nice light weight option. Wish LEE would make the 160 in 6 cavity. That would make a nice set, 160, 200, and the 255 all of the same style in 6 cavity. Have the 255 and I like it.

But I simply don’t have enough 45 sixguns. Need to fix that. Really prefer double action though.

Was about ready to pick up a new in the box 4” 45LC Red Hawk (really want the RH in 45LC & 45ACP) from a friend when an early (1907) Savage 99A with a rifle butt in 30-30 came up from another friend and I just couldn’t pass it up. Always wanted a 30-30 model 99. This one has a Lyman tang sight as well.
But I may be Trading for that RH anyway. I would prefer a S&W model 25, the Smith is just a fine pistol that fits my hand better than the RH.

CW are you going to have those out for the kids tonight? Certainly casting candy.

Yeah the Smith is always a winner with me. It’s just hard to get a person to let go of certain Smith’s at a reasonable price

I am really enjoying this lil boolet!!

Loaded up 50 of these and 50 200g HP in ACP. Shot them outta my 45 Carbine with red dot. @ 50 yards and all shot for function not really accuracy. Offhand shooting @ 50 could be covered with your palm.

Cast up a couple hundred more yesterday.

Blk is the NOE 200 HP's and the grey is the LEE 160's.

The Lee , 452-160 is " nail driving " accurate out of my Smith and Wesson Model 625, 45 ACP / Auto Rim.

One of my favorite cast bullets for this revolver.

To use the 160's in a semiauto pistol (45 acp), would you have to use one of the very fast pistol powders to generate enough force to cycle the action?

Power Pistol worked fine for this blow back. But it has pretty light "spring" cause heavier loads send brass quite a distance.

unique will do it too, but your up over 7grs to make the gun function.
i'm not a real big fan of unique in the acp, even though it gives a nice recoil impulse.
green-dot isn't agreeable to me either, but i don't remember why.
anything faster than that i'm okay with, even titegroup.
