IDEAL 452423

My mould arrived today.
I have serious doubts that this one has been cast with in 40 or more years.
It needed a major cleaning.
Seems to be fine now , once the cleaning was completed.
Now to begin casting with the mould..................
Should be a perfect match for my Smith & Wesson Model 625 Auto Rim.

That is lint you see from cheap paper towels.

If you can live with a single cav. mould, ( I have many of them ), this will be a great mould.

Thanks Max,
Ben

UP-Date

I was anxious to get outside and cast some
with the new mould ( at least new to me ! )

Great fill out, bullets drop from the mould well, as we've all come
to expect from old IDEAL moulds.
All in all, I'm very happy with the mould.
As history has already shown, this one will work well in my 45 Auto Rim.

Sized, lubed, ready to load they weigh 246 grs. with my alloy :

that's bout the only mold i've been kind of keeping an eye open for.
i have a 225gr. RNFP which fills the role now, so the search hasn't been overly enthusiastic.... LOL
