That really is neat. Only sharpen one face, break the sharp tip with a stone (the whole length of that corner, only do it once for the life of the tool), and done.

Interesting concept. Would save on grinding time and grinding wheels, but some limitations when it comes to form tools. Think I'll stick with Dorian QITP.

smokeywolf, that is what I kept the lantern tool holder and grind form bits. But that isn't that often anymore, so it works OK for me. p.s. It is not that great for threading against a shoulder either.
