Lee soupcan in 300bo

Probably not, the short cartridges tend to hit the back end of the barrel at the top and telescope the bullet in my experience with RFN designs. Make two dummy cartridges, load both in the magazine, and slingshot the charging handle to find out.

The soup can jammed into the locking lugs on my rifle. The 150 would “sort of” feed, but the nose was seriously deformed and the locking lugs scored the heck out of the nose.

I have it and know I tried it. Dont remember but I dont use it so probably had issues.

Ironically bullets have fed better in my AR's then from my American. The design is such that a large 90° portion of the barrel stops many bullet shapes cold.

This one works OK in mine, as does the 145gr one, same nose. For light bullets the 110 half jacket Hornady works OK. Actually my RD 170 works in the AR. Soup can short blunt probably won't. Might try seating a PB BB in it (nose first) to get an idea. Other problem with the Lee is where do you crimp with all the lube grooves. Might look at the 31-110JG or 31-115C (carbine bullet).

Think it’s 115 grn but I always think it’s a 120 grner.
Fits and shoots lights out subsonic or with a healthy dose of powder to about 2000 fps and a gas check as cast.
But I’m talking about a swinging block single shot.

If you are willing to single load it works well.

Mine weighed 113 grains w/o the gas check, but I reamed the gas check rebate out of the mould and they come out 118 grains now.

They cast .313", so I've used them in the 300 BLK, 30/30 and 7.62x39 to great effect - it's been very accurate in all three cartridges. I don't think I've shot it much over 1200 fps, as I consider it my "squirrel load," but have yet to take it out hunting.

Very gratifying to shoot on paper too though.

EDIT: OH! No feeding problems in the Contenders or Handi-Rifles.;)
