Lube Sizer

I was working pictures this morning for an upcoming article. This is a nice lubricating press as they were known back then.
Patterned after the Ideal No 1, it is a cleaner design and a wee bit stronger. Unfortunately for anyone lucky enough to have one, Ideal dies and top punches do not interchange.
I won the eBay lottery some years ago when I bought an unknown tool. Listed as a SAECO, it's really a Modern-Bond.

Doc.
he's probably writing it for the antique reloaders society/association? website.
probably hacked that all up.
but a couple of attempts around that should get you there.

Nice, what a lovely old tool.
while I'm not crazy about those dies, it does seem like a better design, then the side (perpendicular) setscrew.

I have a later orange version of that Lyman lube sizer. That vintage machine does take modern dies and top punches. This is a committed machine for the 45 caliber bullets used in my single shots. Ditto on desirable design features in this day,

At large, whereabouts unknown.
That looks like the sizer that was on ebay for a long time. I wanted to bid on it, but didn't think the seller had its actual identity nailed down.
