As many of you are aware, Lyman made the 358432 Wadcutter in 148 gr. and 160 gr. versions.
I'm fortunate to own both weights. Today, I got outside with my casting post and my double cavity 358432 148 gr, Wadcutter mould and cast about 200 or so.

I plan to shoot both the 160 gr. and the 148 gr. versions of the 432' in my 10", T / C heavy barrel .357 Mag. and some of my 38 / 357 revolvers to see if there is a big difference in their performance.

Many say that the 160 gr. 432' is one of their most accurate bullets in their 357 Mag. revolvers.
We'll see ?????????????

Do you have experience with the 432' ? ?

Ben

I'm lubing the bottom groove only with Ben's Red and then giving them a single coat of BLL.

Here they are as they fall from the mould. I HATE a mould that cast sub - size bullets !
Sizing .001 or .002 is no problem for me.

These have had their bottom groove filled with Ben's Red and then rolled in BLL.
They will dry and be loaded tomorrow.

I have a pair of these 357 mag. barrels.
One has a 6 X Trophy scope on it, the 2nd barrel has T/C factory metallic sights.

That is a GREAT small game bullet. Many years ago, John Zemanek published an article in HANDLOADER that mentioned his favorite small game load -- it was that bullet over a stiff load of W231 in .38 Special cases, to generate about 950 fps from a 4" revolver. I tried his load and really liked it.

As I recall, his load gave me 965 fps from a 6" K-38, and shot into one ragged hole at 50 feet, and would almost instantaneously convert a starling into a puff of feathers wafting on the breeze.
